The doors of the Historic Stanley Hotel were first opened by Freelan Oscar Stanley on July 4, 1909, when John Phillips Souza played in front of the large patriotic crowd. Ever since then, F. O. Stanley has ceremoniously opened each of his new additions on the Fourth of July. Today’s ownership is staying true to this tradition and will open its doors to the new Carriage House this coming weekend.
Re-Opening on July 4 2021, Mayor Wendy Koenig will be cutting the ribbon at 10 a.m. to welcome Estes Park’s newest business additions: The Post Restaurant and Aiden Sinclair’s Underground.
The community is invited to celebrate the grand opening of the Post Chicken & Beer, which will conclude with a toast with a short beer and a small bite.
