Event Description:
American Legion Post 119 has existed in Estes Park for over 100 years. Post 119 purchased the current building in 1954, and operated it as a private club for decades. In 2019, the Legion Officers took two major steps to revitalize Post 119: they established the Estes Park Post 119 Charitable Foundation charged with renovating the historic building, and they opened the tavern facility to the general public to serve as a center for community activities.
The Veterans of Post 119 have lived a lifetime of service, and are proud to continue this service to Estes Park by providing a gathering place for Locals to meet and enjoy.
The first two hours will feature complementary champagne and snacks as well as games and socializing. Starting at 4:00, The Flying A's musical duo from Austin, Texas will perform.
